At The Bee Fairy, we value genuine feedback from our customers. Reviews and testimonials help us understand customers’ experiences with our products and help other customers make informed choices.
We are committed to presenting customer feedback fairly and transparently.
Website Product Reviews
Customers may submit reviews and star ratings for products through our website.
Reviews are checked before publication. This allows us to identify spam, suspected fake reviews, inappropriate content and content that may create legal or regulatory compliance issues.
We do not reject, hide or delay a genuine review simply because it is negative. Genuine positive and negative experiences are treated in the same way.
A star rating displayed with a website review is the rating selected by the customer. The Bee Fairy does not create or alter customers’ star ratings.
Moderation and Editing
We aim to publish genuine reviews in the form in which they were received.
However, in limited circumstances we may make a minor edit before publication where reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, privacy or safety reasons. This may include removing:
- personal or identifying information;
- inappropriate or offensive material;
- links or obvious spam;
- age-related statements which could incorrectly imply that a product is recommended for a particular age group;
- medical, medicinal or other claims which it would not be appropriate for The Bee Fairy to publish; or
- other content which we reasonably believe should not be published for legal or regulatory reasons.
Any such editing will be limited to what is reasonably necessary and will not be used to change the customer’s opinion, sentiment or overall meaning.
Where a material compliance edit has been made, we may identify the review as having been edited for compliance.
Where appropriate, we retain the original feedback so that we have a record of what was submitted.
Reviews We May Not Publish
We may decline to publish or may remove content where we reasonably believe it:
- is fake, fabricated or misleading;
- is spam or unrelated to the product being reviewed;
- has been submitted for promotional or fraudulent purposes;
- contains unlawful, threatening, abusive or seriously offensive content;
- contains personal information which should not be published;
- makes claims which we cannot appropriately publish for legal or regulatory reasons; or
- otherwise breaches this policy.
These rules apply equally to positive and negative reviews.
Customer Feedback Received in Person
As a small independent business, we meet many of our customers personally at markets, shows and other events.
Customers sometimes voluntarily tell us about their experiences with our products. With appropriate consideration for their privacy, we may record and publish genuine comments received in this way as customer feedback or testimonials.
Where feedback has been received verbally rather than submitted through our website, we aim to make this clear.
We do not create a star rating for verbal customer feedback. Star ratings are only displayed where a customer has actually provided one.
Testimonials
Our Testimonials page contains a selection of genuine customer experiences and comments received through our website, directly from customers, at events or through other forms of customer communication.
Because this page contains selected customer experiences, it should be understood as a collection of testimonials and not as a complete record of every review or comment we have received.
We do not create fictitious customer testimonials.
Where necessary, testimonials may be shortened or lightly edited for clarity, privacy or regulatory compliance, but we will not deliberately alter the customer’s overall experience or opinion.
Incentives
The Bee Fairy does not offer rewards, discounts, gifts or other incentives in return for a positive review or a particular star rating.
If we ever invite customers to provide feedback, they are free to express their genuine opinion, whether positive, neutral or negative.
Where feedback has been collected as part of a promotion, product trial or other incentivised arrangement, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that this is appropriately disclosed.
