The Bee Fairy’s Natural Hayfever & Allergy Barrier Balm is a gentle beeswax-based moisturising balm designed to leave a light protective layer on the skin around the nostrils. Handmade in the Teme Valley using beeswax, nourishing plant oils and a carefully selected blend of peppermint, lavender and lemon essential oils.

Many of our customers choose to use the balm as part of their personal routine during pollen season, while gardening, spending time outdoors or when around dusty environments and animals.

The balm also moisturises and conditions the delicate skin around the nose, which can become dry or uncomfortable through frequent wiping.

• Beeswax  — forms a light protective layer on the surface of the skin and helps retain moisture.
• Shea Butter — rich and nourishing, helping soften and condition dry skin.
• Coconut Oil — moisturises the skin and helps the balm spread easily.
• Sweet Almond Oil — a lightweight emollient that helps soften and condition the skin.
• Calendula Oil — traditionally valued in skincare and included for its skin-conditioning qualities.
• Lavender Essential Oil — provides a gentle aromatic note and has a long history of traditional use.
• Lemon Essential Oil — provides a fresh, clean citrus aroma.
• Peppermint Essential Oil — provides the distinctive fresh aroma and cooling sensation associated with the balm.

🌿 Inspired by Traditional Herbal Knowledge

Plants, herbs and aromatic oils have been used for generations as part of traditional approaches to seasonal wellbeing.

Peppermint has traditionally been valued for its fresh, cooling and strongly aromatic character. Lavender has a long association with calming and aromatic wellbeing, while lemon has traditionally been appreciated for its clean, refreshing citrus aroma.

It was this traditional knowledge, together with the skin-protecting qualities of beeswax and nourishing botanical oils, that influenced the development of our Hayfever & Allergy Barrier Balm.

👐 How to Apply

Using clean fingers, apply a small amount to the skin immediately around the nostrils.

Many customers choose to apply the balm before going outdoors and reapply it during the day as part of their normal routine.

The balm can also be applied to suitable areas of dry or exposed skin around the face. Avoid direct contact with the eyes and do not apply inside the nostrils.
