The formula for this is absolutely gorgeous, unlike any natural (or otherwise!) tinted lip balm I’ve tried. It glides on accurately, stays where you put it and – although it naturally fades, like any balm – it does so very prettily and without sliding outside of the lip line and making a mess (as other balms I’ve tried have done!).
It’s very moisturising as well; my lips get really dry and the moisturising effect of this is really helpful and long-lasting. I’ve definitely noticed a difference.
And the colour is subtle but absolutely stunning, I’m obsessed with it. I put some on in preparation for writing this review, and my mum did a double take and asked if I was wearing makeup. I replied that I wasn’t, just this purple lip balm, and she was really impressed, saying that it “really lifts your complexion”. If you’re looking for opaque coverage then this maybe isn’t the balm for you, but I think that the translucent purple blending with the natural lip colour underneath is very flattering, certainly on me!
